Our next open water class starts Sep 11 at 9am. This will be a two weekend course
for Open Water. The instructor is Anne and the cost is $299 + $10 lake fee.
As a bonus for this class, we will provide everything you need for the course. You
will not have to buy anything extra. Usually, you are required to provide a mask, fins
and snorkel, but since our new shop isn't ready yet, we've decided to include the
use of our equipment to the class.

You will need to complete the online portion through Scuba Schools International.

If you answer "yes" to any of the questions, you will need to get physician's
clearance. Here is that form. If you answered "no" to all of the conditions, you do not
need a physician's clearance.
Class will start at 9am at Rao's Bakery in Nederland. They are at 3504 Hwy 365
Nederland Tx, 77627. We will spend about two hours doing some paperwork, a quick
review and a knowledge review quiz. Then we'll break for lunch and head to the pool
to start diving. We'll wrap up about 6 pm. We'll meet back at the pool Sunday at 2pm
and finish around 6 pm.
The next weekend, it's all about the open water checkout dives. We'll do a series of
dives between Saturday and Sunday. We'll dive Saturday starting around 10 am at
Smith Lake in Vidor. It will take about four hours. We'll meet again on Sunday around
2pm and dive until about 5 or 6. Then you're done!
